Before Getting your vehicle repaired:

  • Your car is the second largest investment—preserve its value for safety
  • Never drive a car that has damages as it can make it unsafe for you
  • Ask that the insurance agent inspects your vehicle at Gentile’s Collision instead of having you visit their drive-in-claim centers
  • There is no law saying that you have to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal
  • You have the right to any repair shop and your insurance agent cannot make you go to any other one.
  • Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all the work that has to be done and they will tack it on later. If you have gotten a lower one, let us know about it so that we may explain our estimate.
  • Make sure you choose a collision shop with necessary qualifications (i.e., I-CAR or ASE technicians)
  • Ask what kind of replacement parts they intend to use. If they are OEM parts, then they are genuine manufacturer
  • Ask about repair warranty
  • Allow us to be the best shop for you by handling your claim with your insurance company
